Alex Treyz is a singer-songwriter based in Durham, North Carolina. She threw over her a cappella roots for something more raucous when she joined rock band Hardworker in 2015. Alex recorded an EP and a full-length album with Hardworker, adding harmonies to Sus and Michael Conner's lyrical melodies and guitarist Danny Nowell's sonic riffs. In her solo work, Alex draws on the gentle-to-mighty scope of her voice to weave vivid stories of melancholy and joy.
